Clapton Commons and St Thomas Church have worked together since 2013 with a shared aim of improving the local neighbourhood for the common good of all residents.

Every Wednesday 9am-2pm
In response to the cost of living crisis, St Thomas and Clapton Commons opened the church building to provide a safe space for local residents, breakfast and a soup lunch.
The Warm Welcome has grown into a hub for community engagement, as those who come along share their skills and interests with others.
All are welcome to come along and get involved.

Organising
Clapton Commons and St Thomas are connecting local residents to form a network seeking to improve housing standards on the local estates.
This work is about working with local. authorities and residents to solve issues like damp, mould, rogue landlords and housing insecurity.
Undercroft Redevelopment
Together we are redeveloping the space beneath the church. This will become a new community space available for hire to local groups.
